What to expect
We go into much more detail about what to expect during the installation with our clients, but this should give a rough idea.
Delivery of materials
We meticulously plan the logistics of delivering all necessary materials and equipment to your site. This involves coordinating with suppliers, scheduling deliveries, and ensuring that everything arrives on time.
Upon arrival, our team ensures that all materials are handled safely and stored securely on-site. This prevents damage and ensures that the installation process can proceed smoothly.
Installation of the mounting system
We prepare the roof or ground area by marking out the installation areas and ensuring that all surfaces are clean and ready for the mounting system. The mounting system, which will hold the solar panels, is securely installed.
This involves attaching the mounts to the roof or ground in a way that ensures stability and durability, taking into account factors such as wind load and structural integrity.
Solar panel installation
Solar panels are carefully placed and securely fastened onto the mounting system. Our team ensures that the panels are positioned for optimal sun exposure to maximise energy production.
Panels are connected to the inverter and the electrical grid. This step involves running wiring, setting up the inverter, and ensuring all electrical connections are safe and compliant with regulations.
System testing and commissioning
Once the installation is complete, we conduct thorough testing to ensure the system operates correctly. This includes checking the electrical connections, verifying the performance of each panel, and ensuring the inverter is functioning properly.
We provide a detailed walkthrough of the system, explaining its components, how it operates, and how to monitor its performance. We also provide you with all necessary documentation and answer any questions you may have.
Cutting the ribbon
From there, you’re good to go. We’ll guide you on how to get the most out of the real time performance monitoring that you will have setup and leave you to cut the ribbon and announce the new system!
We also love to bring a videographer to a site a few weeks later to record promotional materials for our own website and marketing activities as well as your own.
We encourage clients to make specific requests about content they would like filmed so that they can use the material to promote their new investment in a low carbon future.
Minimising interruptions
We know that the installation of such a system to an already busy business can be daunting. We put every measure in place that we can to ensure that we can install your system with minimum interruptions or impact upon day to day operations.
Advance notice
We provide advance notice of all installation activities and timelines, allowing you to plan accordingly.
Work schedule
We coordinate with you to schedule work during non-peak hours whenever possible to minimize disruptions.
